what? thats crazy! thats a build i will be working on later next month is my '95 fs-pro.yours is sweet.are those the powerlite "pipe dream" freestyle pegs? i need those forks too i only have frame, bars, and seat now.awesome bike can you do any tricks on it?

Not sure what the pegs are, they came on a '98 Condor I bought (that means nothing). I'll have my wife take some action pics tomorrow

I agree...small pics suck. I bought these wheels from Scot, (SexnBMX) he might have bought them from you?.....

I almost bought some from you, but I found a set of red 24" yellow label Comp III's for my 24" CW cruiser.

You do have some smokin prices tho!!!!.....

i hear through the grapevine he can do quite a few tricks on it trust me that powerlite rides nice i had one a while ago jay

i believe so.i really haven't heard the whole story there and how that came to be but the end of pedalpower was the beginning of powerlite.thats a nice little piece of history you have on that table.

So....Peddlepower was a BMX shop in Orange, CA back in the 70's to the late 80's. When Steve Rink decided to start building his own frames, he started designing and building with John and Steve Johnson from the Torker fame. The first years Steve Rink labelled them as Peddlepower frames.

They decided to change the name of the bikes to Powerlite in '77/'78 and started as what you now know as the Powerlite series. Peddlepower, the shop, stayed open for many years, carrying the best of the best. Not only the Powerlite products, but many other high end products.

Rumor has it that Voris Dixon was the original welder of the forks and the bars for Powerlite. As well as many other products for other local companies.

Not that this is the definite answer....but it is loosely the way I've figured it out.

Anyone who can add some more knowledge to this, please do!
