I finally got one!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been looking for this bike since my return to the BMX world. My very first racing bike was an R 2500 this is an R4000 as close as I could find. Its all O.G. down to the tires. Heres the discription of the bike. I'm so happy I could SH!T 
1983 Raleigh R 4000 BMX Racing Bike. I believe all parts on the bike are original- Rear Blue MX brake lever and brakes- MIC Stem- Blue Annodized Araya 20" rims- Blue Annodized handle bars- Raleigh racing seat, does have a small crack on the side- Blue seat post clamp- Blue hubs stamped K.K F83-Crank arm Has Sugino Chrome-Moly Stamped into it. Frame sticker says Raleigh 502 Chrome-moly- Also still has the original tires. Bike has Raleigh Racing frame pad, and handle bars pad.

Bada$$ and super clean! Just give those pads a touch-up and you got a new bike.
What's the point of having a bike if you're not going to ride it?

I think I have those very same rims on my Thruster! My rims hace no corners anywhere, they're round (like a half circle) from one side of the bead to the other not like [ but like a C... What did K.K. F83 stand for on the hubs? Who made these?
