Hey TZ. I saw your SUNN. Looks good. I think the only difference between the Royal and Granroyal is the slightly longer TT on mine?

You are right, but other than that that I think they are identical. Do you still happen to have the original fork?

Yeh, got the forks still. I keep a seperate lower bearing race and headset cup for each set of forks so that I don't have to bash anything off the forks when I used to swap them over. I think they look similar to the Cyclecraft dirt leg forks.

Re: 1999 Sunn Gran Royal
Hey mate, awsome bike. I was trying to find info on them as a mate had one in 2000? I think 2000 anyway,it looks like his and he still lives in Berridale. Could be his old one, did you buy it new or used?
Or was it a local ACT thing as he got it down there. Never seen another one.

Hey there aaronl,
I haven't been on the museum in over a year I think???
Yeah I sold this bike to Cal in 2000 as I blew my back out. I'm pretty sure it sat in his lounge room for a long time. I eventually came good and spent a number of years pestering him to sell it back to me. 2004? 2005? I got it back. Not letting it go again.....missed it too much
Cheers
Gran
