1983 Nomura

This is a 1983 OG anodized blue Nomura frame with Bottema forks.Decked out

This is a 1983 Nomura OG blue anodized frame with Bottema forks andNOS SE Powerwing bars with Oakley B-1B grips,DX lever,NOS chrome Tuff-Neck Race inc. seatpost NOS , blue NOS Viscount Kashimax Aero seat and Skyway graphite Tuff wheels..My best race bike. Profile I love that look FOR THE CRANKS...Especially polished  to chrome spider with Hutch pedals. But I think with me the blue NOS DX cranks win for this bike. This will be hard to top.

Re: 1983 Nomura

No.I may pedal it around and check it out.I have raced a few times back in the day.But always freestyled. It is the coolest race frame out there to me.I will maybe do a PK Ripper too,

incomplete here and there, brake cable, bolts, chain, freewheel.I almost like this more than my rechromed Gen. 1 Haro Freestyler.

Re: 1983 Nomura

cool
            Mark...

                Really a great-looking Nomura...nice work!
Interesting thing is the fact that you actually
have 2 head tube decals on the frame!

The head tube has Weldon's 'Cartoon Crossup'...
the seat tube 'appears' to have the 'original' decal-
the 'Rising Sun' with Nomura Racing underneath the
Sun! I couldn't get 'sufficient magnification' to read
the 'words under the Sun'...but it LOOKS like it says
            Nomura Racing?

The 'rarest' Nomura decal ever is actually the
head tube decal put on the NRP Team bikes BITD.
It's the 'Rising Sun' with FACTORY RIDER under the Sun!
There weren't many of these used-probably fewer than
            3 dozen,I'd guess!smile

                 Please Email me(mathergolf@comcast.net) with your
'real name' so I can add it to my Owner's Log Book...if
you'd care to be listed! I won't use anything but your
name,no town or state listed...to insure your bike's
            safety!

            Thanks,

            Bob

This is the same bike as the one in the new Sept. issue of BMX Plus! isn't it? It has to be graphites, Bottema forks, yep this is it.
