Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

gotta love that old school MX style!

"You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In Vietnam his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill!"

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

Looks like they copyed the Panda MX 4 Shocker. If that bike was made in Taiwan, they used some of my parts.

is that the original plastic tank? what are the mounting holes on the bottom of the tank area on the frame for? are they for the 'original' tank that supposedly goes there?

do you have extra parts for this bike that you are willing to part with? i need the bench saddle to complete my bike. yes, i also have this bike. am i the second only person to own this rare bike?

brc? i have the same 'super mx' sticker on the down tube, but the original owner of my bike said it was a huffy brand bike.

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

I think your bike is the same as a Graco. Graco's were shipped to the U.S. at the same time.
I saw these bikes being made in a Taiwan factory. We had the same tires thats why I was there [Kenda tires ].

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

I had the same bike in Langley, BC back in 1978. It was blue with the number 4 on the number plate, a blue gas tank, and raised white letters on the tires which I thought were cool. Very heavy bike though, with stiff shocks. I kept having to get the frame welded near the front forks due to the heavy weight from jumping ramps. Brings back memories.
