Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

Looks like they copyed the Panda MX 4 Shocker. If that bike was made in Taiwan, they used some of my parts.

is that the original plastic tank? what are the mounting holes on the bottom of the tank area on the frame for? are they for the 'original' tank that supposedly goes there?

do you have extra parts for this bike that you are willing to part with? i need the bench saddle to complete my bike. yes, i also have this bike. am i the second only person to own this rare bike?

brc? i have the same 'super mx' sticker on the down tube, but the original owner of my bike said it was a huffy brand bike.

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

I think your bike is the same as a Graco. Graco's were shipped to the U.S. at the same time.
I saw these bikes being made in a Taiwan factory. We had the same tires thats why I was there [Kenda tires ].

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

I had the same bike in Langley, BC back in 1978. It was blue with the number 4 on the number plate, a blue gas tank, and raised white letters on the tires which I thought were cool. Very heavy bike though, with stiff shocks. I kept having to get the frame welded near the front forks due to the heavy weight from jumping ramps. Brings back memories.

Re: 1975 BRC Super MX

I believe I have the same bike original just missing the tank, it has the same what looks to be a mounting brackets on the tubes below the tank.... I've seen people on this bike claim they have a brc super MX that look similar but i believe there bikes can't be the same as this on as it hold a seat post for a banana seat rather then the sattle type seat mine and this bike share.... The post states that this is a 1975 brc super MX, how does one tell for sure the gear and make as I've been trying for weeks to make sure that mine is indeed a brc super MX
