1987 Mongoose Decade

1987 mongoose decade custom

I bought this mongoose decade about 3 months ago from ebay it was just the frame and forks, this is my first restoration project and enjoyed every bit of it. I hope to do some more.

Very nice first build here.  Love the colors, especially the matching tires.  Very crisp and clean looking ride!  smile

these were a little find, i drove past a cycle discount store on the way to a show and i thought i'll nip in there on the way back, later i found these at the back of the shop gathering dust and offered the sales guy £12.00 what a bargain eh!!!!.

Re: 1987 Mongoose Decade

Very nice job! The Decade was my all time favorite bike bitd. I rode a powder Blue '87. Some one gave me a chrome one a couple years ago and it started my obsession I have a frame, fork and bars waiting for resto. Who made those tires?
