Bump...nice bike. This is the exact reason I joined the forum.
This was my first decent bike as a kid. Mine was identical to yours apart from the seat pole and pads. If your still around and ever think of selling, let know

The mongoose pads are an aftermarket set that came with the number plate in a kit you could buy.
I have an '88 in black with the correct style of pads, I have yet to post(stay tuned).
