1986 Diamond Back Viper

Picked this one up right here on the Museum. Everything was very well preserved and 98% stock DB. It came with the chainguard and everything. I am in the process of some tasteful upgrades as this will be my daughter's new BMX.  Original frame, wheels, reflectors, chainguard, stem, seatclamp, and cranks. Upgraded Dia Compe lever (NOS), handlebar (NOS) and stem California Lite pads, Odyssey 1999 rear brake (NOS), pink AME grips (NOS) and gumwall tires (NOS), Poverty seatpost, GT Viscount racing seat (NOS), chrome cable and VP-450 pedals (NOS).

Re: 1986 Diamond Back Viper

I had an '87 chromie as well - many good times on that bike - although, like this one, they are heavier than brick!!!  Great to cruise around casually in, not so easy taking flight!!! lol

Re: 1986 Diamond Back Viper

you are right, heavy as hell, but I still pulled off some trick on my old one! But I also did some nice crashes as well ( my attempted back flip...ouch)
