1984 Haro FST

Haro FST 1 of 5 known to exist.

All I know for sure is this frame and fork was bought in a bike shop in Minnesota in 2007. It has never been assembled and been rumored to be left at the bike shop by the Haro team in 1984 and has been sitting in the back room ever since. What makes this frame so rare is the welds, markings and no serial #. Is this a prototype, or an experiment?
1.There is no Haro stampings on the headtube gussets.
2. There is no serial #
3. The welds around the top frame are in a different spot. This is different than all other FST's. There are only about 4 known to exist. Anybody has info, please post.

Re: 1984 Haro FST

I have a chrome survivor version of this frameset that belonged to Steve Mitchell right here on the museum. Mine has a weld "breather" hole at the end of the top tube where it meets the standing platform. The other charecteristics are the elevated seat tube gusset, and the torker like rear triangle (almost identical to a second generation US haro) although the coaster tab is thicker like a tai gen 3 '84. As with this white one, there are no chevrons in the gusset and the stading platform "sweeps" back at a shallower angle like the torker made frames (the tai models were a little rounder).

A mystery for us all, great looking frame you have there cool
ill post pics when i can

Too large, takes up half a page.
