1982 Huffy Pro Thunder

Well i was a bit confused for a while because when i first got this bike as you can see in the Pics the stickers of the frame read "CK 6000" meaning it was made by Coast King Which i was told was nothing but an 80's hardware store. This made things even more confusing because never in my life had i hear about "CK" bikes so just to make sure it was a CK i looked it up here in the Museum and it turns out "CK" Brand bikes are not here at the Museum i was like !!!!WTF!!!!. But then i put it up on "Name It" and a day later one  of the guys here at the musem showed me the same exact bike with the same exact parts But made by Huffy. Anyway after a couple days of debate we came to the conclusion that this is a Rebranded Huffy Pro Thunder. Heres a some pics of before and After give me your opinion.

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Thunder

Sweet find. I'm realizing Huffy sold bikes to a few different hardware stores, I've seen True Value, JC Penney's and others. Blue frame with yellow is rare. Cool.

Very nice!  Wow, that is in great condition.  Personally, I would have not taken off the OG stickers, but it still looks awesome.  Keep all the old OG parts in case you want to move it later.  May do better as an original complete.

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Thunder

Well i also thought i should of left the oiginal stickers but the rust was already buildng up under the paint and stickers so i had to choice but to sand it down to bare metal and Recoat. I do have original cranks, and sproket but they are beat up..
But anyway thanks for your comments guys. big_smile
