1984 Hutch Trick Star

My original ride in 84, still gets ridden every day:)

This is my original Trickstar bought directly from Hutch back in 1984, it is the first year, without the front fork pegs. I rode this bike on a freestyle team, "Ground-Up Trick Team", in northern VT back in the early to late 80's. I still ride it now with my 3 year old son on his Tony Hawk bike:) This is still my dream bike!!

I'm sure it's a great feeling knowing you've held on to your Hutch all these years cool

Same with my 88' teal/mint Master

That's astounding - you call that "scuffed up?' She's gorgeous!

No kidding, too, about the freestyle team? That's bad ass, man.

Re: 1984 Hutch Trick Star

Yeah cappy, she's my baby...well besides the two boys that I now have...and oh yeah, my wife....but besides them, she's my baby:)

I have to admit, it takes me back so much when I ride this bike every time. I spent countless hours in the winter months up in Vermont in my parents garage learning tricks to unveil the next year. We did about 10 shows at schools, fairs, parades throughout the year. I learned my first cherrypicker in that garage using the overhead rafters to help support me while I started to hop. Over time me and a few other guys from the team learned to do firhydrants and rollaids in there too! It was a long time ago, but great memories.

They won't ever build freestlye machines like the Trickstar and the Master ever again.
