Re: 1986 Zeronine Pro XL

I had a white factory works xl Zeronine just like this one, slightly different graphics,(mine had the block triangle, square, circle, etc, under the zeronine name on the downtube) good construction, only problem was for racing the BB was really low, you had to be careful not to drag pedals in turns. Where I raced back in the mid eighties they were pretty rare, I only remember mine and another kid who had a pro sized one that was black.

Re: 1986 Zeronine Pro XL

Very cool.  My friend had one of these BITD.   One of the great things about Zeronines is that you can put any damn color components on it in any combination and it works just fine.  Iweldbikes you had the Cyclecraft-made frame.  CC couldn't meet the production volume 09 wanted, so they moved production to Taiwan.  Still a very nice sled.

Re: 1986 Zeronine Pro XL

They folded in the early 90's.  They put way too much faith in a crappy art director and their stuff from 90 on was really ugly, so noone bought it.
