Re: 1984 Hutch Pro Racer

thanks brindle, couldn't find any Hutch forks so I went with the Landing Gear. I'm always on the lookout, so I can change them later if I find some. smile

Re: 1984 Hutch Pro Racer

I like it.  Mine doesn't have matching forks either.  The bike belonged to another kid who dared me to jump a 20 foot wide canal.  I said if he wanted me to do it so bad, I would do it on his bike.  I cleared the canal, but broke a drop out.  The kid gave me the bike on the spot, then went and bought a GT.

Re: 1984 Hutch Pro Racer

I say sod the Hutch forks.  I can't tell you how many guys I knew BITD that ran LGs on everything 'cause they're stong as hell.  I like the fact that you didn't try to build a Pro Star replica.  Build it the way you like it.  That being said, I hated both my Hutches.  Great build quality, wonky handling.
