1982 Race Inc. 24"

NOS FRAME SET, RED ANNO, CHROME FORKS

This is my baby! 100% NOS RACE INC 24" Cruiser in RED ANNO. The bars shown in the pic are REAL DEAL,  RACE INC. Cruiser bars. They are going to be brought back to their original glory by the finest chrome plating company in ILLINOIS. I was told that this bike once belonged to Jeff Mattox whom I believe is the original "cruiser king". I'm trying to get a positive confirmation on this fact....so if anyone out there knows him....please pass on the info.
This is what OLD SCHOOL BMX IS ALL ABOUT....handmade in California.....fine craftsmanship....and Killer Looks! To me this is not a bike......it's art-work....it's an antique, it's the 426 HEMI BARN FIND for my generation ..WEll, ALMOST..LOL!!!....
Since picking up my other red anno race inc cruiser...which is 99.9% perfect....I have decided never to build this one. This Race Inc. Cruiser is "dead mint".....and I would venture to say that it has to be one of the nicest, original, 24" Cruisers on the planet!!!

Re: 1982 Race Inc. 24"

Thanx for the compliment......It took me a long time to find a NOS '80's era Cruiser and I hope to keep her forever. I paid heavy for this gal and she is worth every cent. How many NOS, annodised red, Race Inc. Cruisers are left in this condition.....can't be more than a few at most, ..in the country! The big question...to build her up... or leave her naked!

Oh no don't build it. Leave that treasure just the way it is. Who knows. Maybe some day you can sell it and pay off your house. You just don't find them that clean anymore!!
