1979 Quicksilver restored

This was my first Resto! Acid bathed,2 coats of powder,new stickers. Built up out of reconditioned & Nos parts.

Yeah Quicksilver make the Helium bmx but this is not one of them.

I kinda agree with realfox. If you can find them i'd try the all black Comp III with the rainbow logo. I have never been a fan of gum next to yellow.

But hot bike!! I need to get me one.

My first BMX bike…. nice job Dude. Takes me back a ways! I remember how bad i wanted a set of their Decals as mine got pretty banged up.

Tried the local shops to no avail, not to even to have thought of going to the source which was only a half hour away. Well i was 8-9.

Is it possible to change the title of this thread?  The bike is actually a Type 1B.  Yeah, I know I'm being pedantic, but this is supposed to be a museum!

Such a sweet bike.  I love it and the tires are amazing just the way they are.
