Nice ride.  Looks like an odd-ball.  It appears to be an '86 with '87 decals.

I don't doubt that it is original.  That's not what I was saying.  Just saying that it looks like they put 87 decals on an 86 bike.  Might have been a very late production of an 86 model.  Probably not too many like it.

You should post the serial number.  I'm sure that it's numbered as an 86.

I guess the other alternative is that it is actually an '87 with '86 forks or something.
