Re: 1978 Panda Charger
The Panda Charger 2 T came after the Panda PX 1.
1. Mx 1
2. Px 1----Has two half moon gussets on the down tube.
3. Charger 2 T--Has round hole on gusset.
4. Pro Am.

Re: 1978 Panda Charger
that is the late 70s frame style but the fork is newer than the ashtabula of a 78ish bike.
the serial number with the e9 along with the fork make me guess 1979, assuming the fork is original to the bike?
if it were 78, i'd have expected to see an ashtabula.
the old ads mention using AKISU forks on the upgraded model.
i'll have to check but i think my serial number is e8 and the cranks and fork were also stamped 78.

Re: 1978 Panda Charger
The forks are Tange TX500 stamped 6H. I believe that means '76. I wish i had a better picture of a "Charger" I want to know for sure.
