2000 Schwinn Hydramatic

2000 model (1999 build date)

A rolling tank, love it though.
Purchased in 2001 complete right from showroom floor. All parts are XS. Very clean and well kept.

2000 HydraMatic Team

Heavy as hell but 100% 4130 cr-mo and top of the line components. Nice bike! Great addition to the museum.

But thanks for the comments!

Re: 2000 Schwinn Hydramatic

Ha Ha...yep...wish I had a dollar for all the "stupid" things my wife says I do! She doesn't mind my bikes but she wants her parking spot in the garage back. lol

The HydraMatic Team retailed around $800. Your son is stylin'. BITD Did you buy the bike for street or ramp riding?

Re: 2000 Schwinn Hydramatic

Well that's an interesting question. The story goes, my parents could not afford the Dyno's or the Hutch's of the world so we ended up with the Fuji's / that sort of thing..

So what had happen, moving ahead 15 years or so, I had a real stable job, some extra COIN and nothing to do. Went to the local bike shop, knew the owners for years and spoted the Miron on the floor. It matched my GTI VR6 and blam bought it, I wanted one of these for ever and have had it since.

So to answer your question, neither. I skateboard and have since 86" vert / pool only.
