1997 Torker Pro XL

One of the last Great US made Torkers

I bought the Frame and Fork used but not abused. I'm a huge Torker and SE fan so this was a logical purchase. The three Hole Gusset along with the two holed rear dropouts make this the SE Racing US made model. From what I understand from a former Torker dealer here in Dallas is Torker initially contracted SE to produce the 1st run of these frame and forks. Then Seattle Bike Supply (owner of Torkers brand) contracted another manufacturer to produce the second run which still had the three holed gusset but instead of the two holed rear dropout, had one hole and a Torker logo stamp where the hole went on the SE models. Furthermore, the rest of the Torker frames with the gusset that has a torker logo stamped or cut out into it were Taiwanese made. Any who this is one fast bike! As always thanks to John at Dallas Bike Works for building my bikes with care! Parts are as follows............ 1997 Torker Pro XL Aluminum F&F, Powerlite Powerbend Pro Bars, DK 1 1/8 Threadless XL polished stem, Chris King sealed headset, Torker Grips, Crupi Pro rounds, Torker Cranks w/ Sealed BB and rare Torker Chain wheel, Shadow Conspiracy Interlock Chain, Profile 48's Sealed Hubs laced to Sun BFR's with Black spokes, Intense 1.75 Tires, Peregrine Post, Torker seat clamp, NOS 97 Torker Pads and MCS Seat. This is one fun rider!

I'll have a Caucasian please.

I'm always down for buying Bullseye 191m and 196mm cranks. Yes they exist.....just not a lot of them

Great bike!.

I will only suggest that you edit the pics adding more brightness. I had to download the pics to take a really good look.

I love those.  For being an old school guy, I sure have become a mid school fanatic.  I hope to find a mid school Torker at a "score" price one of these days.
