1988 Haro Invert

Not the most popular of the Haro's. It's not a master or a Sport but it's mine and is fixin to go through a make over.

One of the best looking Invert's I've seen here! Looks all original and complete! What are you going to change on it??

Re: 1988 Haro Invert

For right now it is going to be taken apart and given a thorough cleaning and greasing and new tires, these are shot. I wasn't expecting it to ride as well as it does. I want to repaint it eventually but not sure how available decals are for this model.

Re: 1988 Haro Invert

inverts were actually one of the best haros in that year as far a sflatland was concerned, since they didnt have the rear standers that were plaguing the rest of the upper haros since 1985,and even spread down to the fst/fsx's in 87.another weird thing is that the inverts didnt crack that easily on the seat tube junction like sports or masters...I always wondered why, since I also had an 89 street master whose top area looked just like the 87 master, but never cracked, weird.still, great survivor,I would leave as is.another mystery is why haro named a flatland bike,invert,lol...the 88 invert is basically the 85 fst with the wraparound headtube gusset as its only difference, which makes it ever so cool, since my first real freestyle frame was a 1985 fst...

Re: 1988 Haro Invert

I really like this bike. It has realy nice feel about it. I was lookin to restore it but there are no decal kits for it. There are only Master, Sport and FST. It cleaned up pretty good so I may leave it as is for now.
