Re: 1984 Haro Sport
Hey Guy's, this bike was for sale on UK ebay a few months ago. I am from Scotland but now live in Australia. The reason I got this little gem was that it had to be picked up. I have a friends in the UK who managed to help me out (Chris Daly) He picked it up and shipped it out to me. If it wasn't for Chris I wouldn't have received this baby. It took about 2 months to get the bike here in Australia but it was well worth it. The day I saw it come up on ebay I new I had to have it. I didn't care the cost. As most of you know just to get the wheels or the stem is a feet in it's self. I normally don't buy complete bikes, but I could never have built this bike in parts. I had been searching for 8 years and I only found a couple of original items. Anyway thanks for the comments, John

Do we dare ask how much it set you back? So how much did it set you back? It's killing me!!!
Sweet find man, I had no idea they came with Z-rims and that chainring as a complete.
My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."

Hey Dean, didn't I tell you I have Doc Emmit Brown and Marty McFly on the payroll. As for the price of the bike. Honestly guy's I would rather not say. I just had to have it. It may have been cheaper to go back in the Delorian and pick it up!

Re: 1984 Haro Sport
"I love it" is certainly an understatement ![]()
Thanks for sharing the story behind this one, good friends in this hobby are sometimes more precious than the bikes themselves !
I'm currently working on the very same model, and parts aren't really easy to get hold of, if ever someone has some of those 1.75 Cheng Shin snakebellies... That's all I miss right now ![]()
