1985 Race Tech Freestyle

Made in 1984-5. Super rare, possibly the only one in existence.  Kept hidden and unchanged for 20 years.

Got from long time friend, who went to school in St. Cloud and was roomates with an ABM employee. The frame was blue powder coat but was stripped and polished bare soon after it was purchased. This bike is unchanged from then except I replaced the bent DK stem and bent hollow bolt, and put on the DK platform that he gave me. Specs: Twin top tube aluminum frame, adjustable head tube, Redline freestyle fork with low pegs, Skyway EZ Bars, DK stem and platform, Redline flight crank, Hutch pedals, GT laid back seat post, Viscount Aero seat, Tuf Neck seat post clamp, Yo! grips, Bulleye hubs, Z rims, Schwinn Yo! tires, Dia Compe brakes, Odyssey RX-3 levers, Paramount cables. A new paint job is next, otherwise it will stay the same. Serial number FH3

Re: 1985 Race Tech Freestyle

in 1996 american was talking about comming back and went as far as getting AA PRO Brandon Taylor and myself Beau Martin (16x) then to ride for them at the U.S. Open in CA. we were given a ton of jive grips and number plates and stickers as well as prototype cranks,hubs,brakes... after the company did not start back up Brandon and I gave all the parts to friends and local kids at out home track (Roadrunner BMX) in Texas
