1983 Diamondback Viper

Started as $100 dollar Craigslist find!!!!!

83 Viper i  built for my son. Bought on CL for $100 bucks then assembled with parts that inlude CR-MO 3 piece cranks, Takagi spyder, Rocket chainring, VP Bearclaw pedals, Skyway Tuff 2's, Kenda K-rads, Viscount seat,  Odyssey TKO Stem, old school bars, and a padset. I had a Hutch Pro Racer that i rode vert/dirt on as a kid and this build brought back lots of killer memories. Going to do some upgrades in the near future.

Re: 1983 Diamondback Viper

Nice Job

I am in the middle of a restore of a 83/84 Viper for my kid as well. I have the same tuff wheels, and also went for the full black tires instead of the gum walls. Now I know I have to finish it because yours looks great. Thanks for posting my inspiration.

Very nice build! Always loved those DB's with the diamond gussets!
