cool looking bike how do the gears work? are they on the wheel or are there 2 chainwheels?

The Suntour Holeshot used a twin rear freewheel, 16-18 or so. You pushed the lever down for a quick start and then released it for high-speed.
I know that I have "shifters" and I should have a rear "derailleur" somewhere, so I will take some closeup pictures if interested...

Looks like the manufacturer is actually a legendary german bicycle company Schauff. "Crossmaster" appears to be the model of the bike.
Cool bike nonetheless!
