1981 Torker MX

This is another one of my bikes that I had bought from the original owner. (my brother-in-law) I actually only got the f&f and pads. It has its original chrome finish and decals, I added a Torker stem, Finish-Line grips, Dia-Comp brakes, Araya 7c’s, sealed Torker/Sunshine hubs, snake belly tires, Suntour VX cranks, KKT pedals, Race Inc. seat post, Dia-Comp clamp and Kashimax Aero seat.

I’m looking for a Mongoose Two/Four, Racer-X , 16" Squareback, 75 Mongoose, Mototrac, Torker cruiser, 78/79 Microline, Also early Red-Line & Mongoose vinyl pads,

Very nice looking bike bro, well done. The colour combination somehow seems spot on for a Torker.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Re: 1981 Torker MX

Great example.  Like funkwit, when I think of a chrome Torker, I think of black and gold

Re: 1981 Torker MX

Thank you! I appreciate the comments; I was really satisfied how it turned out in the black & gold; I would like to replace the bars with some gold Rough Rider bars or possibly gold Torker bars though and change the pads to black vinyl instead of the nylon.
