This bike is basically an un-restored bike; it still retains its original nickel finish and original decals, all of the rest of the parts are original and correct for the bike, with the exception of the grips and chain guard, which I had replaced with NOS parts. The DeCosters were offered as a kit by the Schwinn dealers, basically a complete bike without wheels and tires, you got to choose the wheels and tires you wanted when you ordered the bike.
Wanting to sell or trade my chrome & black KOS, 78 Race Inc. frame and my 78 DB IV frame.
I’m looking for a Mongoose Two/Four, Racer-X , 16" Squareback, 75 Mongoose, Mototrac, Torker cruiser, 78/79 Microline, Also early Red-Line & Mongoose vinyl pads,

Re: 1979 Roger DeCoster
Definitely one of my faves! I restored one last year and wish I would have kept it.
