1994 Redline RL 340 Compe
1994 Redline RL 340 Compe
Just picked up this rust pile for $20.
I'm not even sure if it worth $20, but i plan on painting white. I'm pretty sure 340 compe's did not come in white, but I love the way the 80's white Redlines look.
Wanted: 1 front white tuff II mag. 1 set of used chain ring bolts. Cheap used yellow seats and grips.

So do I, I have a RL 340 and I just added white tires and it looks slick.
I am willing to trade for the following: Star Trek Next Generation figures, DVD, etc. and Bionicles.

jf, your bike does look pretty tight. i just put on the final clear coat. stickers are on the way. all parts are either ordered or ready to go. can't wait for the final product.

Ok, finished. Bike as been redeemed on a budget. $15 in Lowes auto paint in a can (paint, primer, clear coat). $100 for powder coating was out of my budget. I think it turned out well. The neighborhood kids LOVE it. They have never seen a white out 80's style bike.
