OK, its not mine, I just wish it were!!
WoW, I can still recall seeing this frame in a bicycle shop in Kalispel Montana way back in 1979. It is Just so cool, the angles and design are incredible. designed for Stu Thompson, STR-1, because he kept breaking regular frames is the story I heard.
The Fresh Powder coating sorta helps too! WOW,,
Someday I will have one, or a remake in 24" size?

Re: 1979 SE Racing Quadangle (Wanted for bmxmuseum!)
Its a kool bike, and the new one has a 21 1/2" TT I think...to bad, its about 10-15 years to late. I'm done buying bikes...at least oldies and reissues like this one. (never know, might buy another Standard, or quite possibly a Sunday one of these days) I'm not sure you heard a good story though about the strenth of these, I've had several friends break these, on the other hand, the riding now days is way more technical and advanced then it was back when quads were made and just about any bike made back then would have a tough time standing up to the abuse riders dish out noadays.

The reason I said its about 10-15 years too late is because I called up the owner of SE years ago requesting an XL quad and he wouldnt make it...oh well.

Re: 1979 SE Racing Quadangle (Wanted for bmxmuseum!)
I remember the candy red one that hung in the bike shop in Kalispel...... I lived in Havre and raced a dark blue quad all around Montana back in the 79-82 timeframe. Looking at the red one hanging on the wall in Kalispel always made me regret choosing blue :-) Unfortunately my quad was stolen off the front porch of a friends house :-( and the shop I worked for wanted me to race a Sting rather than build another quad. At least I still have the Sting, wish I had the quad......
