1982 Moto One
1982 Moto One
***SOLD***
(by Diamond Back)
Cool little bike I picked up. Appears to be all original with the exception of the "Oasis" seat. Definitely has Diamond Back bars, some old steel wheels with a tinted film over them, and a very cool Gusset cutout. The top tube is 18.5 inches. Has been sold to Kai.

Re: 1982 Moto One
Can't say I've ever seen any documentation by Diamond Back refering to this model, though the frameset looks suspiciously like the 1982 Pro-Star http://www.os-db.net/pro-star%20-%201982.html which was the forerunner to the Viper. Might well have been an Akisu manufactured bike that DB endorsed before, but that's about as much as I can add.

PS - Headstock badge looks suspiciously 'Centurion' style.

Re: 1982 Moto One
Hello, New to the forum. I have an original 1982 Moto One by Diamond Back. It was a christmas present 1982 when I was 12 years old.
The problem is I stripped the frame about 15 years ago. Decals are nowhere to be found.
Any chance I can get you to take some high resolution pics and email me? Looking for someone to reproduce these.
My frame goes to the powder coat tomorrow and will be assembled by monday November 17th!
My direct email is mustang6473@msn.com if anyone has any info and pics.
Thanks!
Scott

Re: 1982 Moto One
I just saw one of these up close and in person. Very cool bike. The guy who owns it says he has had it since new. His is yellow with blue stickers.
I leave my bikes in the rain!
