2015 GT Pro Series XXL

I wanted a bigger uncommon BMX bike, but not as big as a 24" cruiser. Bought most of the parts in 2017 from eBay and some right here from the museum.

I wanted a big 20" bike and liked the thought of bigger wheels and a longer frame, so in 2017 I bought the frame, forks and most of the parts from eBay, and some of the parts from BMXmuseum. I tried to build it as stock as possible with a few custom touches, like 54mm GT stem, GT Interceptor 180mm race cranks and 104 BCD spider, GT Performer platform pedals, Mission chain, Odyssey blue slic brake cable, and GT cassette Race hubs with 14G Sapim black spokes, and 7075 alloy hex head nipples. Everything else is mostly stock GT Pro Series OS20. It is geared with the factory 42t GT chainwheel and a custom 14t Shimano rear cog.
Update: On 17 Feb 2018 I upgraded the 1/8 Mission 87 link chain to a 3/32 KMC K810SL 88 link chain. The 1/8 chain was making too much noise and slipping with the  3/32 Shimano 14t cog.
Special thanks to Museum members da420flyer (SDG seat post), [b]K.O.D. (GT cassette race hubs) and my old riding buddy dcoy1973 for motivating me back into BMX.

I will never deal with or buy from Museum seller Flatland78 again, and you shouldn't either unless you like throwing away your hard earned money.
