1985 Skyway Streetbeat Prototype

Here's my latest project let me know what you think. Thanks

Original chrome could this be the holy grail of the Skyway Streetbeat? Here is my recent reply from Rick Palmer at Skyway...
Dennis:

Here is the word from our expert:

"Most likely one of the first prototypes.  Yes very rare, less than 5
around."

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Rick

Dude, you need to check out maurice meyer's site about streatbeats, I don't think there were a whole lot of Chrome f/f out there.

Re: 1985 Skyway Streetbeat Prototype

That's HOT!!!

But would a prototype have a serial number?  They usually indicate production.......right?

Still way cool!!!

Re: 1985 Skyway Streetbeat Prototype

yep your right.. but they made about a handfull in chrome in 85 which probably would have gone to dave vanderspeck but left soon after. 85's only came in white, green and orange. chrome was never mass produced....    postal

Sorry for the delayed response I will search for them and get back to you. If I find them they're yours, for shipping from Canada.

Re: 1985 Skyway Streetbeat Prototype

You found 'chrome' Street Beat forks?  What color mags/parts are you putting on it?

I have 2 Street Beat F/F sets myself.  1 NOS original white 85 F/F with original stickers and 1 NOS 'raw' 85  F/F powder coated white by Chip at C4.  I may be selling the powder coated F/F soon.

I have NOS green Tuff 2 mags, white GT tires and mostly NOS parts I will be putting on.
