Very nice, too bad about the brake post, can be fixed though.

I'm going to take a run at drilling, tapping and threading a screw in post.

Re: Scored my next project. Powerlite.

Who cuts off a brake post to run a smaller sprocket on a bike like this? Makes no sense to me with so many other options out there.

Certainly looks like there is enough left of the brake mount post to do some sort of repair.

Awesome otherwise!

Sweet pick-up!  I had one of those bikes back in '95. It had a long-ish top tube for a freestyle bike at the time, 20 inches if I remember.

Those posts aren't threaded.

This reminds me..there was a bike I really, really, really wanted a few years ago that had the same issue. It was cheap but I just didn't feel like dealing with it at the time.. Depending on how this goes, I may hit that up again..

No pressure Kurt.

I have one and I can't work out if it's damaged or not. The lower tube appears to bend in just before the headtube. Are they all like this?

Re: Scored my next project. Powerlite.

Mine almost looks like it has a bulge in the tubing, then it goes in. i'm wondering if it's been hit in the front.
