2007 Ambiente Bikes Prospero Prototype

Prototype frame and was the first one made.

I decided to build some framesets to my own specification as there weren't too many freestyle specific 24" cruiser frames when this project started in late 2006. Based on the old 80s frames with twin top tubes. Torkers and Haros were always my favourites although I never owned any back in the day. Therefore, old school influence was combined with new school geometry and technology including an integrated 1 1/8th head tube, mid bottom bracket, removable gyro tabs, 990 style brake mounts and 14mm axles slots. It also has built in cable guides and the ability to run either a single or dual cable setup without the need for the added London Mod setup. This frame is the prototype and the differences between this and the production versions are pretty minor. The threaded cable guide doesn't have the extra tube as the guide was thick enough, the slots on the forks are at more of an angle and the chainstays are slightly closer to allow a bit more clearance from the cranks. Parts list for my setup includes Profile cranks with ti spindle, Fly Bikes pedals, stem, headset and brakes, S&M bars, Sun Rhyno Lite XL rims with G Sport Marmoset front hub and Odyssey Hazard rear with ti axle, Odyssey Aitken seat, Shadow Conspiracy seatpost, Animal seatpost clamp, Primo grips, Snafu cables and detangler. I have raced this, ridden in parks, around the streets. It's a great jumping bikes and I find it suited to dirt jumping and the like rather than real street riding.

Re: 2007 Ambiente Bikes Prospero Prototype

I found these on-line and I REALLY want one! Twin top tube design is great! Always loved Torker. I am saving my spare change (what little there is) and hope to get one of my own.

Great design, beauty.

Re: 2007 Ambiente Bikes Prospero Prototype

amazing.
where can I get one ?
and will the rear axle be compatable with pegs 1.75" around and smaller ?
I plan to ride flatland with it if I can find one.

I take my dremel tool to my hutch parts.
I crash daily with my q bars. ( and I stomped the sweep out of them )
I scrape up my seats like no bodys buisness
and I drop my bike alot when I ride / fall.
you would be horrified watching me ride.
