Re: 1982 Kuwahara E.T.

Prime68,

I am a Kuwahara builder/rider too!  I have an E.T. bike and they are rare birds!  I like the black and chrome Z-rim set up.  What state are you in, out of curriosity?  How did you know it was an ET v. KYZ looptail?  Is there two holes on either headtube flange?  I am very interested in your frame amd the its' life story...  Here is a pic of a few of my Kuwas!

1979 KE-1, 1983 Lazerlite, 1982 NOS E.T. or KZ-2.5

If you need any parts lmk or if your interested in trading or selling your frame and fork please e-mail me.

Thanks,

Mike M.

Re: 1982 Kuwahara E.T.

@ShinobiKE
hi there,the former owner was a friend of mine,he became this bike,as a E.T.,at his birthday in 1984,than a few years later he didnt like the look much more,and let it plated,as he saw the first rustspots,he sanded and painted the frame and fork,first in pink 2 weeks later in yellow.in 1995
i meet him and ask him what´s up with his "old bmx bike".after a long search we found it in a garage.
i give him a old wheeler mountain bike an the E.T. was forever mine!!!!!
whats the headtube flange,if its the gusset between head & downtube,there are only the large holes
1 on each side!!!!
