1980 Schwinn Sting

NOS 1980 Sky Blue Schwinn Sting Frame and Fork.

This is my favorite piece in my collection (not counting my actual race bikes).  This is a NOS Sky Blue 1980 (E0TXXX serial) Schwinn Sting frame and fork.
The 79-81 sting has always been my favorite BMX frameset and sky blue is my favorite of the colors it came in, so I was very stoked when I scored this for way less than I was willing to pay for it several years ago.  Also pictured is a NOS Black Team Schwinn branded Kashimax MX seat.
Picture 2 shows the dropouts.  Note the original wooden rear dropout protector that was shipped with the frame and fork from the factory.
Picture 3 shows the frameset with its little brother, a 1981 Mini Sting.
Picture 4 shows some of the accessory pieces for the sting family.  Included are all of the 20" decals (note that the SBC fork decals and the Tri-Oval decals are reproductions, if anyone has originals, please contact me).  Also shown are the 1979-1982 Sting manuals as well as some of the pads (if anyone has a red Schwinn toptube pad, I'd also appreciate it if you could contact me).
