2009 DK General Lee

Custom BMX build

This Project started by accident because I wanted to buy the latest 2017 DK General Lee but unfortunately DK bicycles only sold the 22-inch bmx model so I decided to build my own 20-inch Beast...  ;  )
The only genuine parts on this 2009 DK General Lee model is the frame and iron cross sprocket.  My plan was to source some really cool off the shelf gear & use chromoly items whenever possible because this Frame and forks are High Tensile steel so it was important to lighten the bmx and pimp it out big-time!
My DK specs:
Frame: 2009 General Lee 1020 High tensile steel 20” TTForks: Generic 1020 Hi Tensile steel Pac-Man forksBars: S&M Hoder High Bars 30” wide x 9” riseStem: S&M Black XLT 57mm Race StemGrips: New DK black Shuko grips Cranks: New full Chromoly 48 spline 2 Piece cranksSprocket: Original Steel DK 39 Tooth chainwheel/sprocket BB: New Eastern 19mm American BBPedals: New Odessey Tom Dugan Pedals Seat: Mid-school Powerlite Padded black seatSeat Post: FMF aluminum 400mm extra long black Post (I’m old-school so my seat must be sky high) Seat clamp: black generic 25.4 clampRims: New DRS Expert black rims with chrome nipples Tyers/Tires: Tioga Powerblock 20x 1.95 front & rear Brakes: Odessey Springfield black rear brakes Brake Lever: Diatech MX-1 in black & redChain: Black Shadow Conspiracy V2 half link chain Silver Generic chain tensioner
One of my pictures displays a Gold Bullseye Pro Stem but it's been replaced with an S&M Pro Stem to complete the black and orange theme.
Anyways, I hope you like my custom General Lee BMX... : )
