Re: Does anyone really own a Trick Star ?

I don’t own the NOS White Frameset anymore... but the rest are still here. All are OG Finish. Only missing a few colors. The pink one is an old pic. It’s changed a lot.

My god the lavender ones.

I was watching the latest 30 for 30 on Ric Flair today, and there is a 1980s photo that shows Ric and his son David with a Trick Star.

Doesn't that sort of kill the Hutch hate - Ric Flair bought his son a Trick Star?

Trick Star IIs don't count. Nor Windstylers.
Trick Stars had superior geometry for the time.
The only one I've owned is in Edmonton. For a while, it was hanging up at United Cycle.

sorry but rear drop outs on the trick star II are way lower. than a 80's trick star. so that alone will change the geo / Geometry

Re: Does anyone really own a Trick Star ?

It looks like it's lower because of the design style... but measure them both with the same wheel and they should be the same.
I will see if I can find the article from Freestylin Mag that says they have the same Geo. Just because it looks different doesn't mean it is.
If not I will measure my TS And TS-II myself. smile
