1976 Roger DeCoster
1976 Roger DeCoster
This is a first generation 76 Roger DeCoster, 76 is also the first year for the DeCoster.
I bought this from the original owner and other than a good cleaning and polishing the bike is 100% original and retains all it's original parts it came with when purchased from the Schwinn dealer back in 76. Decals, grips, seat and even the Schwinn Scrambler tires & inner tubes are original. I also included a photo of the bike wearing it's 30 year old dirt before I cleaned it up.
I’m looking for a clean 1975 Mongoose (long) frame, and a nice original finish Mongoose Two/Four

What a beauty! I just found a Roger DeCoster and trying to figure out what is original, I thought the rims and tires were added to the bike at a later date, but after seeing yours I think they may be original:D

Needs*Sugino MX-A5 Spider in White* Late 70's Robinson / or early G.T. XL Tall bars aka ... Andy Patterson Tall bars 9.5''tall or more - And a 44th -B.M.X anodized Blue chain-ring Sugino.

Re: 1976 Roger DeCoster
Man, I like that one. I'm thinking that after I get the wifey a 2013 20" Skyway that she is not going to be riding her purple and white '79 Moto Mag and I'm going to change that bad boy back to a OG looking, kick arss one like yours. Sweet ride dude.
mmmm........loop tails.......
