1997 Mongoose Carbon SL

Rare Mongoose Carbon

Found this from a member on here. About 4 years ago he told me this frame was hanging on the wall of a bike shop in Port Charlotte, FL. He knew this because he used to own the bike. Anyways he gave me his contact number and then life got in the way. Fast forward 4 years and I found the guys number again and called him. He still had it. No cracks (rare). I bought it sight unseen over the phone and on it's way it was. I basically built this bike just as I would have wanted it back in 97. Although not every part on this bike is period correct, it's close. Sure, the pedals don't match the bike colors you're right, but this is how I would have built it when I was 13. Get the idea? I hope to collect a few things to make it just right over time, but for now I totally dig this. Thanks to all the members that I purchased parts from to complete this build. You know who you are.
Enjoy!
