1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

87 PFTT

i tried my best to get the cleanest parts for this build. some things are almost impossible to find. i started off with a pretty nice frameset. fs stamped. i ended up refurbishing the seat myself and it came out pretty good. i touched up the logo too. i was lucky to find a nice set of 87 dated cranks and slapped decals over the screen print and they came out solid. i had to resort to refinished pedals, chainring and stem. i stripped and painted the chainring myself and i was lucky to find a very nice gt stamped chain for this build. the tires were elusive but picked the best 2 out of 4 that i bought and cleaned them up. i got lucky with the mags after passing on a nos set. i went thru alot of trouble hunting down these parts and after about a year, im finally done!

Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

Hell YES Brother!!! GT lavender is my second favorite color on these Iconic freestylers, next to white of course...lmao... Looks Dope AF man, real Happy for you. Another Old School Grail you can check off the list!  I know two of the guys I deal with in Cali and they are here on the Museum too that have some Neck breaker lavender FS stamped 87' PFT Teams. I have been falling more and more in love with this frame color. Instant fav of course bro! WoW!!! Let me now if and when you want to step up to some 1st gen Superlaces.... Your stable is deep with Holy Grail builds and I am sure we can work something out. Check out my Lavender Tioga Mitsuboshi Comp STs I have posted too, We go back so dont mind the price postred, just PM me homie! Again steller job! coolcoolhttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/150963/img_20170222_150442_61058f8a76d2b.jpg

Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

Perfect touch of white parts in my opinion. I like the full lavender builds as well, but it's nice to see one with white tires stem and seat. Gotta give the Stash84 approval " cool "
