Nice bike!
I just picked up a 24" Traker recently. They are awesome bikes.
Whats with the double headset nut? I have never seen a set up like that before.
Thanks for putting up the extra pics. I wondered what the letters on the headtube sticker were (MX). Its good to put up extra detailed pics of a bike this rare for reference. I did the same with mine. ![]()
Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: C19 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: WB 42667. Both last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA. around 1984. Reward if found!!

Re: 1983 Traker Denny Owens Team Model
Thanks man, yeah I love it. You know, I'm not really too sure, I haven't taken the thing apart yet. Someone told be it's because it has a 1" head tube, but it doesn't look that different to me, I don't know. This is almost exactly how it was when I picked it up, all I changed was the pedals and seatpost. I got lucky with this one, they are out there! And yeah I thought the same thing as you, I hate when there are only a few small pics of something rare.

Very cool. I had two friends with black chrome Trakers BITD. One guy ripped the head tube off during a race--bad landing on a double. The other guy--no clue what he did with it. I remember I loved the way they rode. Love to have one myself.
