1982 Yamaha BYZ401

Replica of the 1st BMX I owned

After my family had moved to the UK in 1982, my parents bought me a Yamaha BYZ401. They were a French model and very few were imported to the UK. This bike is exactly how mine looked on Christmas Day. All the parts are the originals that have been re-painted or re-anodised.

very very nice. looks just like a true early 80's race bike. very good work. i never seen or heard of these frames before and it looks very good. i hope you ride this bike, its too cool not too.

i have the 501.  raced it twice, then retired it.  got second in both my races.  it had some weird angles.  but it is an extremely frame
