Not hating at all my opinion is just like yours, IT DOES NOT MEAN SHIT

Your Definitely hating, I didn't see/read anything positive from that comment, which makes it a hating ass comment. With a name like joker I was expecting some funny stuff, the homie joker from my hood really earned that name. Maybe you should be "Hater-man" seems more fitting for you. All your previous comments on other threads are just as weak.

Wasn't trying to be positive nor funny! So I'm glad you can read, and again it's just my opinion.

Funny stuff, Joker getting called out by a dude who's been here less than a week, and obviously doesn't get the whole story.

Re: 1983 Nomura Face Lift In Progress

I have the impression that the 3-D dropouts, which are an innovative design IMO, were first of their kind.  Sometimes frames are monetarily valuable not because they are necessary the "fastest frames" or strongest, etc, but for reasons like a few cool attributes, rarity etc.

My shipping is going to stink from 9/20-9/27...as in ....it's not going to happen.  I'll have spots of no communication, but will mostly be available to discuss.

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

Ambrosio were making rims post war, so a good number of decades before C&G hit the market. My understanding is that Ambrosio were sub-contracted to manufacture rims under the C&G brand.

Or are you saying that Ambrosios (BMX) were released after C&G?

That makes sense

Agreed.  Ambrosio was making road bike rime for years before BMX was started.

As shown in the link, the full company name was C&G Distributors.  They were a distributing company in the US.  They weren't actually making the rims, just selling them under their name.
