2005 GT Performer

Orange (is the new) Black

My 7 year old told me what parts he wanted to build up from my mid-school stash.
After some "professional consultation" from me, this is what he chose:
Frame: NOS 2005 GT Performer. Forks: 2005 Mongoose freestyle.
GT piston stem, Dyno 4-piece bars, Cane Creek headset, Odyssey Gyro, Tektro levers and u-brakes.
Matching seat and grips. Giant brand seat mast, GT seat clamp.
Skyway utility front tuff / ACS rear Z-Mag. Maxxis Holy Roller 1.75 / Hookworm 2.1 tyres.
ACS 16t freewheel, KMC chain, Chromoly 3-piece cranks, GT sealed bottom bracket.
Colour-coded power disc, black anno bolts, GT 40t chain ring, era correct GT alloy platform pedals (update).
He loves his orange bike. First go with no training wheels! No crashes..yet.. you go, son!

Thank you. Brakes are a must for the time being.
