1981 Mongoose Supergoose
Original survivor??
This bike was bought by a Japanese man in 1981 who was here on a work transfer program, I think. He was staying with an american family while he was here. He loved BMX so he bought this to ride. When he left he couldn't take it with him. He kindly left it with the american man and his family. It went through one brother then the next. The last brother decided to sell it in hopes it would go to a collector. Lucky for me I was on Craigslist at the right time. I believe the bike to be all original although the rear wheel is in need of some attention, and the tires have been replaced. It is sporting a new school wheel for the time being. Other goodies include a set of Ame grips, Redline stem,Red Araya wheels with Shimano hubs, Unsure of the pedals, Mongoose Stamped Takagi cranks, Dia comp 890 brake, Velo seat. A real pleasure to be the proud owner of this one. Thanks Joshua

the pedals!! with the single slots on the sides looks like an old set of vp 747 bear traps!! should have a clover logo on the top of the body!! nice old school ride bro!!
