Nice FST I was going to build up. Had it painted and it looks brilliant. Nice gloss finish. I love the Black and Orange Color Combo. I just picked up a '85 Redline Pro-Styler so the FST might have to

Continuing project. Let's see how it turns out.

Re: 1987 Haro FST

Yeah, pretty sweet. I got this frame off fleabay here in Australia for a 'alright' price even though the pix didn't look so hot. I had a good feeling about it. My first project. Sandblasted it real gently the other day and she turned out imaculate. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting some rust, heavy pitting. Nuthin' but a couple of tiny pits and that's it.

Funny thing is, that I bought a '88 Haro Team Master frame on ebay shortly after getting this baby. I've been procuring components to make a sweet Master and was going to powder the FST and sell it but it's been a month and a half and no Master in the mail. The guys tells me it take 'several weeks' to ship to Australia from the USA. Hmmm. I've had no problem in the past with bigger items. Anyway, I'd rather have the Master than my money back from PayPal because I got a good deal. But if it doesn't show up either this FST or my '96 GT Performer are going to be hooked up reeeaal nice. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Any color suggestions? I was going to go with all Black with the Coral Decals or go retro with white and the 'Freestyler' decals. What do you think?

Both are nice color choices. I have to say though that you don't see white ones everyday. Thinking of doing a white one myself. Sorry to hear about the Master. sad   Hope it turns up for you!

Re: 1987 Haro FST

Thanks dude. I'm sure it will turn up. The guy doesn't seem shady. I think it may be a case of USPS screwing up more than this guy simply not sending it. He seemed pretty pissed off that I held his money through PayPal and has been semi-willing to help. I don't want to be a jerk but I don't want to be played either. I've been there before and it won't happen again, if you know what I mean.

As far as colours go, I'm throwing all kinds of ideas around. I'm seriously thinking about white with the headtube section, forks and bars all black with the '87 FST Coral Decals. You know the ones with the orange strips. Now that's something you don't see everyday.

Re: 1987 Haro FST

The Master finally showed up after a bit of drama and I did it up pretty good. Check it out in 'My Bikes'.
