Re: 1990 Haro Sport
Well, yours may be more rare than the 90 90's w/peg bosses. I'm not sure, but I looking at the decals, I think this may be from the very first run of these in late 89 early 90. I don't know that there was a "stock" complete version of the frame you have. The forks? Unsure as well. I thought I remembered Mat running red SE Landing gear at a KOV event on one these frames, before they came out as a complete. Either way, awesome.

Re: 1990 Haro Sport
the matt bike had se forks, red,a gt stem, white, black or chrome kneesavers,I believe superpros or whichever rim was true.redline flights,dx's odi mushroom 2's in blue, tech 7's in white, tioga st tires or haro 2.0(I saw the bike with at least 2 kinds of tires during those months.what I am sure of is that matt had a 1990 team master around june/july 1990 at the houston KOV.stock,as I saw it,during a shootout for plus in aug 1990 or so,it had a fusion dk type stem, kneesavers, one piece jm cranks, victor dx,or sx pedals,or maybe fusion, fusion twintorc, straight post, fusion kashimax, araya 48's,loose ball hubs,a fork similar to the 91's,maybe without peg bosses.gyro,pitbull,etc...

Re: 1990 Haro Sport
Why do all the Haro Masters and Sports have that funky downtube design in 89-90? They were such handsome bikes from the early 80s-88.
No offense, but that BULGE makes the frames look pregnant. I don't understand that design at all. lol ![]()

Were you absent from old/mid school during the bashguard years?
Just about everyone had a bashguard bike for a while.
The airmaster and this sport are the best, IMO.

Re: 1990 Haro Sport
this is a very underground frame, for being from one of the top companies back then. matt had it set up with kneesavers, one piece cranks, black kashimax fusion seat, twintorc clamp, vp sx pedals, maybe a bully or mallet stem, and a old haro sport fork from 84, at least in the pic I saw. besides that, haro tires(the fat ones on 88 team masters), super pros, and of course, odi II´s

I think I was... I got outta freestyle/bmx around 1987, when I started buying cars. Those bashguards look weird... at least GT made them removable.
I still love the Haro Master and Sports, the bashguards not so much.
Although, I would still own one if one came around at a cheapy price. lol ![]()
