1986 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Mat Hoffman Toadstool tribute

I bought this sweet Hoffman tribute from Dan, OG'89 here on the museum a while back. Me and my buddy Norb (Mungus) took a quick road trip from Pittsburgh to Niagara Falls, NY to pick it up. Dan laid the groundwork for this build and I changed a few things up to match the way Mat had it BITD. The bike as Dan built it can be seen here: http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/se_racing/67930 Here is the breakdown from Dan's original build: Frame: 1986-87 SE PK Ripper, bought from ebay. S/N 9-1895. Fork: '88 Haro FST / FSX fork, bought from ebay. Wheels: Original Peregrine Super Pros from '90. Rear axle replaced and front spokes replaced due to rust. Replaced nuts front and rear with NOS Peregrine nuts. Original rim and hub decals. Rear Brake: Original Odyssey Pitbull. Brake Pads: New Odyssey (rear). Levers: Black / silver Dia-Compe tech 77's. Crank: 1988 - '89 GT 175mm. Disc: Repop '88 Team Haro. Seatpost: Alico, knurled, straight. Seat: New black Kashimax RS. Detangler: 1" original Odyssey gyro - modified. Custom stickers: 2X Swatch 'bumper stickers' on down-tube, , 1X Swatch Pro Tour decal on seat tube, , 1X 2Hip 'bumper sticker' on top tube. I added / changed the following: 88 Haro Knee saver bars, powdered by C4. ODI Mushroom mountaineer grips. Custom made Freestylin' handlebar decal. 85 GT mallet stem. Forks refinished by C4 in 85 Haro blue. GT pegs axle pegs. Dia-compe Nippon front brake and white Dia-Compe brake pads. NOS set of Peregrine 100 PSI tires. Correct NOS pink Swatch Pro Team chainring decal. I had my decal guy recreate the Trend Bike Source decal for the top tube. Shimano DX pedals, powdered by C4, new end caps. NOS white Odyssey Gyro cables and NOS Dia-Compe front cable. Original SE Racing headtube decal. NOS KMC chain. The bike took best in show at the 2016 Thaw & Shine show.

Great build, what decals did you use on the non-drive side?
