1999 Diamondback Assault
was grey but resprayed purple had a 1 piece but i put a 3 piece i use it as a street frame not as a racer i run a 23 to a 16 at the mo magna bars n forks i changed them from the origional a tad to heavy. maxxis tyres alex rims only thing the seat pole has seized

Sorry, this is not an assault. This is a Skin Dog or maybe a Mr. Lucky.
You have it set up just fine for what it is.
The chromoly frame with U-brake mount on the chain stays gives it away.
The Assault was an aluminum race frame with V-brake mounts on the seat stays.

I had a 2hip that had 36-16 and that sucked. I can't even imagine this. just slap a 36t on it. Please.
