1986 Redline RL-20II

March 86 Freestylin' magazine tribute build

I set out to build another Cali red RL20-II after selling my 87 last year. I wanted to do this build like the March 86 Freestylin’ magazine test bike. This was a four month project and I am very happy with the way it turned out. •    1986 six digit numerical serial number Redline frame, forklifter bars and Redline stem. C4 did the powder coat, new chrome on the forks. Rear triangle is original chrome •    NOS Redline pegs •    NOS Oakley B2 grips •    NOS Elina Flyte Tech seat •    NOS MKS Grafight 2000 pedals •    NOS KMC chain •    Dia Compe late 85 tech 5 wire locking levers and allen bolt Nippon calipers •    Redline fluted seat post •    Suntour broken arrow seat clamp •    Redline 43t bubble font sprocket and full wrap single pinch arms •    Redline Techmatic bottom bracket •    Super nice set of original Peregrine master mags •    Kenda K-55 tires for now until I can find a set of original Panaracer tires •    New Redline number plate and Freestylin’ magazine decals to match the 86 test article bike. My local decal guy scanned my original decal and made these for me.
